Regional IT Support Engineer (Assistant)
Cantium Business Solutions provides IT, HR and Finance services to its customers across Kent and the surrounding areas, including support for all Kent County Council offices and over 600 Schools. The Cantium Business Solutions Service Desk handles over 10,000 calls each month.
The End User Support Team supports customers at their desk side and remotely via specialist tools, in the advertised role you will be initially working in the Regional Support Team to provide 2nd line, desk-side IT support for Cantium’s customers. In this role, you could be working in a KCC office, a school or any other site supported by Cantium.
You will be responsible for providing resolutions to IT issues and escalating calls to other ICT teams
You will need to demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English along with a professional and confident manner.
You are also required to demonstrate a good degree of initiative and common sense, and the ability to troubleshoot and learn new skills quickly. Above all, you will need to demonstrate a keen, friendly approach with a passion for dealing with people and helping to resolve IT related issues.
A good working knowledge of Windows O/S and MS Office is a requirement of this role.
